the loop
A 16-step circular sequencer. Click a step to arm it. The playhead sweeps the ring; armed steps blip and bloom. Drag the tempo. Share the URL — the pattern rides along in the hash.
how the loop works
- Sixteen cells around a ring. Click any cell to toggle it.
- Cells are tuned to a pentatonic scale (low at top, climbing clockwise).
- Each blip triggers one of three center animations: bloom, glitch, ripple.
- Tempo: 60–180 bpm. Pattern + tempo are encoded in the URL — share a groove as a link.
- In ascii mode, the ring becomes
[ ]/[X]cells and the center types in bursts.
