settle

Letters fall, tumble, pile. Heavy glyphs (M, W) pack flat; thin ones (i, l) stack tall and twitchy. Drop a Marcus Aurelius line on the floor and watch his philosophy collapse into a heap.

how the pile works
  • type — each letter spawns at the top with its actual glyph
  • play — drops a sample (or your text) letter-by-letter at the chosen pace
  • gravity pulls them down; they collide with the floor and each other
  • M W → wide and heavy → settle flat
  • i l j → narrow → stack precariously
  • shake button (or tilt your phone) reshuffles the heap
  • capped at ~50 active letters; older ones fade out
