Andrew Khoury

// hi there

I'm Andrew Khoury.

A trusted advisor who's spent over a decade in the seams of enterprise software — cloud, security, governance — helping teams change the way they work so the right things ship faster, with less drama. .

What I'm into

Building tools for myself, mostly. The kind of utilities that exist because I got tired of bouncing between three browser tabs to do one thing — and figured a few hours of TypeScript or Go could fix that forever. Ten of them made it past the "I'd actually use this" bar.

Beyond shipping things, I gravitate toward roles with real reach — developer-advocate work, cross-team initiatives, anything where changing one decision changes how a hundred people spend their week. The boring fundamentals — landing zones, governance, DevEx — that make everything else faster.

How I work now

For this website I paired with Claude on every line. Not autocomplete-and-pray — careful, opinionated collaboration where I drove the design and the AI did the typing. The trade isn't quality for speed; it's commitment for resolution. When a prototype costs twenty minutes, you stop arguing about whether something will work and just find out.

That said: pairing with another human is irreplaceable for anything that isn't a solo project. Sharpens the thinking, surfaces blind spots, makes the decisions stick. 40 experiments here are the proof — built in a single afternoon by parallel agents, each one a self-contained interaction. Some are sharp. Some are blunt.

Roles across Australia and the US. Worked closely with engineers, executives, and the change agents in between — the people who quietly bend an organisation toward something better. I've built a career around finding them.

If we should talk

I take meetings about meaningful collaborations, strategic advisory, speaking at your meetup or conference, or anything where my ten-plus-years-of-enterprise-pattern-matching might save you a quarter.

more about me

I was exposed to computers from a young age. In fact I'd pull apart anything remotely electronic as a young child just to see how it worked. Luckily the cloud means I can break things online now — less messy that way. The mix of software, networking, security, and automating all the things™ shapes how I see business problems and how I solve them.
